In this workshop you will explore one of Fugro’s growth markets; the development of offshore wind farms and the role of geoscientists (geologists, geophysicists, geotechnical engineers, GIS specialists) in this process. During the workshop you will work in small teams on the following tasks:

• Interpret seismic cross-sections and correlate with existing Geotechnical data;

• Geotechnical location planning;

• Identify Geohazards relevant to offshore wind farm development.
